When creating your mission and values statement, come at it from a grounded place. If you are struggling right now, you can still go ahead and start understanding your boundaries regardless, it is good to remember progress over perfection, and you need to start somewhere.
Find a pen and paper

Wear comfortable clothes and find a comfortable position in a quiet spot
↓
Close your eyes, notice any thoughts that arise but gently keep pulling your attention back to your breath
↓
Keep breathing mindfully and remain still until you feel a level of calmness and peace come into your body

Pick up the pen and begin to answer these questions

Which personality traits do I hold in high regard?
What is my calling in this life?
What do I value?
NEEDS
Being able to identify your needs is an important skill. This is not a selfish act. However, denying or ignoring our needs leads to low self-worth and even resentment. We can learn to listen to our needs by moving through the world a little more slowly. Meditation in any form can really help here. We share a practice here.
Listen to others but don’t let their thoughts infiltrate yours. Instead, take time to reflect and come back to what is you.
